Compression elbow Irritec 25×1" F (internal thread) — Italy
The Irritec 25×1" VR compression elbow is a high-quality, premium-class, push-fit angled connector from a leading Italian manufacturer. It is designed to transition from a 25 mm diameter polyethylene (PE) pipe to a threaded connection with an internal thread of 1" (one inch) at a 90-degree angle. It is widely used in automatic irrigation systems, drip irrigation, and water supply systems to connect solenoid valves, fine filters, water sockets (hydrants), or shut-off plastic and metal valves. The fitting is designed for a working pressure of up to 10 atm (bar).

Compression elbow Irritec 25×1" F: Reliable transition to full-size thread for irrigation systems
Italian company Irritec(Iritec) is a recognized world leader in the production of compression fittings and irrigation systems. Thanks to the use of high-quality raw materials and strict control at all stages of production, Irritec fittings serve flawlessly for years, significantly exceeding the official warranty period.
The angle compression fitting (elbow) 25×1" with an internal thread is an essential element when equipping valve boxes and collector nodes. It allows you to output the line from the 25 mm PE distribution pipe at a 90° angle directly to the threaded connection of solenoid valves, disc or mesh filters, quick-release hydrants, and other shut-off and control valves with the most popular inch thread standard (1").
The design and step-by-step principle of the Irritec fitting:
The reliable design of the Irritec compression node consists of five main elements that provide quick installation and absolute tightness of the connection:
Clamping nut— an external clamping element that, when screwed, reliably fixes and clamps the fitting to the PE pipe.
Stop (cam) ring— clearly fits to the outer wall of the pipe, resting against the clamping nut and the stop ring during installation, preventing the pipe from being pulled out of the fitting under working pressure.
Stop ring (bushing)— holds and evenly presses the inner seal when tightening the nut.
Sealing gasket— an elastic ring made of wear-resistant NBR rubber, which tightly surrounds the pipe and guarantees 100% tightness of the connection, completely eliminating water leakage.
Fitting body— a sturdy polymer body in the shape of a 90° angle with a transition to a strong internal thread 1" (with ribs for protection against cracking during tightening).
Key benefits of the Irritec 25×1" F elbow:
Ease of installation without special equipment: The design of the cam clamp allows you to install the fitting in a matter of seconds. Any person without professional training can fix the elbow on the pipe manually, without using welding machines or soldering irons.
High working pressure (10 atm): The fitting is designed for operation under stable working load. It is resistant to sharp hydrodynamic shocks and pressure fluctuations in the mainline during pump station starts.
Resistance to aggressive environment and UV: High-quality plastic is not destroyed by direct sunlight, is not afraid of temperature fluctuations, and is completely inert to chemical fertilizers added to water for plant nutrition.

Installation tip from Agras.ua:Before installing the elbow, be sure to clean the end of the 25 mm PE pipe from dirt and remove a small chamfer from the pipe cut to avoid damaging the rubber seal ring inside the body. For sealing the threaded connection 1", always use high-quality sealing materials — for example, Teflon FUM tape or sanitary thread Koer. Wind the seal onto the external thread of the mating part clockwise and tighten the connection tightly, but without excessive effort on the tool, to avoid damaging the plastic threads.
