The Hunter PROS-12-SI sprinkler is a specialized model in the Pro-Spray line, combining maximum watering height and mounting ergonomics. When plants in the area are too tall for standard models, the PROS-12-SI provides a 30 cm riser, ensuring that water reaches the target zone, not getting stuck in the leaves at the root.
The main technical advantage of the SI model is the presence of a side inlet. Since the overall height of the body is over 40 cm, the lower connection requires very deep trenches. The side inlet allows the tube to be connected at a shallower depth, ensuring the reliability of the structure and saving time during installation.
Technological features of Hunter PROS-12-SI:
- Side inlet (Side Inlet): The presence of an additional 1/2" hole on the side of the body allows the sprinkler to be connected to the main pipeline in the most convenient way, avoiding unnecessary stress on pipes and fittings.
- Durable Pro-Spray body: Thick-walled ABS plastic and a reinforced lid are designed to work in the most severe conditions. The multi-groove lid connection ensures sealing even at high water pressure and mechanical loads from above.
- Innovative Wiper Seal ring: The pressure-activated gasket provides perfect operation when lifting and lowering the riser. It automatically cleans the stem from sand, dirt, and mulch residues, preventing the sprinkler from jamming.
- Reinforced stainless steel spring: Since the 30 cm riser has more weight, a particularly powerful spring is used in this model, ensuring quick and clear retraction of the stem into the body after the watering cycle is completed.
- Nozzle universality: The stem is compatible with all types of nozzles with internal threads (Hunter, Rain Bird, etc.). You can install economical MP Rotator nozzles, standard sprays, or bubblers.
Why choose the SI model for high zones?
Thanks to the side inlet, you can install the sprinkler even where the depth of pipe laying is limited by rocky soil or the roots of large trees. Additionally, the presence of a flushing nozzle in the kit allows you to test the system for tightness immediately after installation, without risking contamination of the main nozzle
