Pressure reduction reducer (1.03 bar) is a mandatory element of the irrigation system if you use a drip tape. Most budget and thin-wall tapes have an operating pressure in the range of 0.7–1.1 bar. Using water directly from the water supply (where the pressure can reach 3-5 bar) will cause the tape to break instantly or the connecting fittings to fly out.
This reducer automatically stabilizes the pressure, maintaining it at a safe level of 1.03 bar (15 PSI), which ensures an even flow of water along the entire length of the row.
