Installation tip from Agras.ua:To ensure 100% tightness of the connection, it is obligatory to use sealing materials, such as FUM tape or sanitary thread. Wind the sealant onto the outer thread of the fittings that are screwed into the coupling clockwise. Avoid excessive tightening with metal keys with a large lever to avoid damaging the plastic thread turns — the strength of Irritec polymers is quite enough for a tight connection with moderate effort.
