Full Product Description
Presto anti-drainage valve is a guarantee of a clean and dry greenhouse. In overhead irrigation systems, after the water supply is stopped, the remaining liquid in the tubes under its own weight flows out through the nozzles, forming puddles and causing burns on the leaves of plants. This valve works as a "smart lock" that instantly shuts off the water outlet.
It is specially designed for highly loaded systems where premium equipment such as Tavlit (Israel) is used.
Why your system needs this valve:
-
Plant protection: No large drops on tender seedling leaves. You will forget about fungal diseases and sunburns caused by excess moisture.
-
Synchronous start: Since the valve keeps the water in the tubes, the next time it is turned on, all fog generators start working simultaneously, without pauses for air displacement.
-
Saving water and fertilizers: You precisely control the watering time down to the second - water is supplied only when the pump is running.
-
Presto Reliability: High-quality materials are resistant to agrochemicals and UV radiation. The valve works stably even with frequent on/off.
Principle of work:
-
Opening: When the pressure in the system reaches the working level (~1.5–2.0 bar), the valve opens and allows water to flow to the nozzle.
-
Closing: As soon as you turn off the pump and the pressure drops, the built-in spring shuts off the flow, leaving the line full.
